Alpine Industries was incorporated as a public limited company in 1974 under the name Alpine Malt & Breweries. The name was changed to Alpine Industries in 1994. In 1983, the management changed hands and the Bhandari family acquired effective control. With successive enhancements in capacity, Alpine Industries consolidated in the solvent extraction industry. The company’s complex at Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh is the largest of its kind in Asia.
