Amforge Industries was incorporated as a private limited company on April 21, 1971 by Yogiraj J Makar and Surindernath J. Makar. It became a public company in January 1986. The chairman emeritus of the company is Yogiraj Maker and Puneet Makar, the chairman and director. The company has its manufacturing facility situated at Chinchwad in Pune. The plant is a comprehensive forge shop with presses and hammers together with all balancing equipment.
