History and milestones

• 1977: Founded as a Partnership Firm
• 1982:  It introduces road milling technology to India for the first time.
• 1984: Incorporated as a private limited company
• 1985: Atlanta introduced IN SITU Bituminous Recycling Technology.
• 1988: The company was awarded the contract for 'strengthening of runway at Bombay airport. The company also embarked on airfield projects at Delhi and Chennai for the Airports Authority of India and longest runway in Asia for defence at Arekkoram.
• 1991: Recognized as a public company
• 1995: It introduced surface mining technology (for limestone mining) for the first time in India.
• 1996: Atlanta bagged the Udaipur Bypass project - India’s first greenfield BOT project on National Highways.
• 2000: The company was awarded the project for construction of the Mumbra Bypass on a BOT basis. In the same year it also ventured into coal mining.
• 2003: It completed extraction and transfer of coal/coal measure Strata in deploying 'surface miners' on hire basis at Belpahar OCP for Mahanadi Coal Fields.
• 2006: The company Listed on NSE, BSE
• 2006: The company received ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management Standard certification. In the same year it was awarded the project for construction of Nagpur-Kondhali project on BOT basis. The company also got listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange.
• 2007: Successfully executed prestigious MUMBRA bypass project.
• 2007: Atlanta received the approval for developing an engineering Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near Ahmedabad. It also set up a SPV -- Atlanta NG Realty Private Limited -- for developing this SEZ.
• 2024: Ventured in Real-Estate redevelopment.
