Arihant Avenues and Credit, promoted by Mohanlal M Mehta, Dineshkumar M Mehta, Arvindkumar H Hundia and Laxman H Vaghela was incorporated as a public limited company in March 1995.

The company came out with a public issue in February 1996 to part-finance its long-term working capital requirements for the development and construction of housing projects and, to part-finance the long-term fund requirements for the proposed financial activities.

Business of the company:

The company operates in two major areas of -- real estate development and construction; financial services like investments, leasing and short term lending. Further, it has acquired freehold land in the Jhalore district of Rajasthan and at Ahmedabad, for construction of residential bunglows.

The Company follows a cautious and prudent policy in its investment decisions. Each investment is considered & deliberated & the decisions are taken keeping in mind & the exposure in a single company, industry & other relevantfactors. For the purpose of managing & monitoring the investment portfolio of company, a committee comprising of both the whole-time directors Shri Arvind Hundia & Shri Dinesh Mehta, has been formed by Board of Directors. The committee doesn't indulge in any form of speculative activity.However, the scrip’s of the company has been suspended from BSE due to penal reason
