Empee Group started a sugar mill in the state of Andhra Pradesh in 1992 with a vision focusing on consumer commodities and it was very shortly expanded into a huge complex with additional facilities for manufacturing rectified spirit, extra neutral spirit, bio-mass fertilizer, etc. Empee Sugars and Chemicals also has a captive power plant generating power for captive consumption.The sugar unit with a capacity of 2500 TCD per day can crush upto 3500 MTs of cane per day.
