Farmax India was promoted by M. Srinivas Reddy, in May 2003 with a single product and started out as a small partnership firm. The cmpany began its journey as Farmax Health and Food Product Pvt Ltd which was renamed as Farmax Retail India Ltd in 2005 and further renamed as Farmax India Ltd in 2009. It is a public limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, listed in the major stock exchanges in India. It is engaged in manufacturing and marketing  of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).

The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of fast moving consumer goods. It has a manufacturing facility with advanced technology imported (machinery is one of the highly sophisticated in that category and was imported from Italian food Major) and indigenous automated machines to meet quality consistency and  market demand with minimum manufacturing cost resulting affordable finished product cost with consisted quality.

Farmax India Limited has its distribution network with more than 600 distributors and approximate 4, 00,000 retail outlets situated in rural and semi urban areas.

It is having its registered office at Farmax House, 4th floor, Alluri Trade Centre, Kukatpally, Hyderabad - 500072, while its manufacturing facility is located in the vicinity of Hyderabad city at  Bowrampet Village, Qutubullapur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in an area of 3 acres.
