Ganesh Polytex was incorporated in the year 1988. It is a diversified and multi product company. It started its commercial production in August 1989, with the setting up of a textile complex at Village Raipur- Rania, Distt. Kanpur Dehat (UP)

Ganesh Polytex Limited is a manufacturer of Polyester Staple Fibre and Textured / Twisted Grey and Dyed Yarn.

Recycled Polyster Staple Fibre is a highly versatile end use product and is also a cost effective substitute for cotton and foam. Newer applications are being invented everyday and the demand is growing exponentially. Present applications are in: - Carpet manufacturing, Blending with woolen yarn, Open and spinning, Cigratte and industrial filters, Toys and bed stuffing, Non-woven filling like pillows, quilts, mattresses, furniture,automobile upholstery and fur fabric and paper industry (Short cut fibre of 3-4 mm length). The fibre manufactured from Polyster Waste is coarse denier fibre and ranges from 3-30 Denier as against the virgin Polyster Staple Fibre which ranges from 1-3 denier.It can be used in spinning for blending to give special effect to fabric or for making coarse yarn for Durry, Niwar, Tarpauline etc. Polyproplene Fibre is produced from Vergin PP Chips only in the range of 6-15 Denier.

Dyed Texturised/Twisted Yarn finds its applications in weaving of fabric, sarees, suiting, shirting, dress material and other fabrics in powerloom sector. The main raw material is Partially Oriented yarn (POY) which has to be textured before finding its application in fabric. Texturised yarn is having the qualities like better air permeability, soft feel, crease recovery and fall. It is also cheaper than cotton and other synthetic yarn making it more widely acceptable product. It produces dyed yarn in different colours and shades as per the requirement of market and customers. Dyed yarn adds more value than grey yarn and therefore company caters to dyed yarn segment only. It offers more than 400 shades/colours in different varieties of textured yarn.
