Adi Rasayan Limited was incorporated as Public Limited Company on November 16, 1992 and obtained Commencement of Business Certificate on November 20, 1992 with the object, of manufacturing and trading in organic and inorganic chemicals dyes and pigments. The company was promoted by Sanjay J. Adani, Dinesh H. Desai, Dahyabhai Patel, Vikram R. Shah and Mitesh J. Adani and family members. Subsequently, during October 1994 Shashikant M. Gandhi joined as co-promoter.
