Hindustan Tin Works Limited (HTWL) was incorporated on December 12, 1958 as a Private Limited Company under Companies Act 1956 for manufacturing and trading of tin/metal containers tin sheets. In the year 1958 the Company took over the assets of a partnership concern named as Hindustan Tin Works which was manufacturing tin/metal containers since 1952.

The story of Hindustan Tin was written when it was born, the company has travelled successfully 50 years to serve the packaging industry to become the largest Can maker of India.

Traditionally, a pioneer and leader in the Metal Container industry, HTW today also provides flexible packaging solutions which are being used extensively for all major FMCG, Food & Non-Food packed products. HTW enjoys a leading position in the country and represents leading producers of tin mill products from all over the world.
