Gupta Carpets International was incorporated on 1983 as a private company. Lately it was converted into a public limited company in 1993. In 2012 the company has changed its name from Gupta Carpets International Ltd. to Axis Rail India Ltd. The company is engaged in the export of handmade/knotted and tufted carpets, druggets, readymade garments / hosiery and bath rugs. It also deals in wool, yarn and carpets in the domestic markets.
