To consolidate the growing biotech research activities and facilitate operational excellence, the Monsanto Research Centre (MRC) has invested in a new state-of-the-art research facility in Bangalore. This sprawling 50,000 sq ft site is located on the Bellary Road and has a modern greenhouse along with a 4,200 sq ft net house. The MRC was set up in March 1998 to conduct research in agricultural biotechnology. More than 50 scientists supported by consultants, software programmers and administrators work at these facilities
