National Standard (India) Limited was incorporated on August 20, 1962 as National Standard Duncan Limited under the Companies Act, 1956. The name of the Company was changed from National Standard Duncan Limited to National Standard (India) Limited.

The Company is listed on Bombay Stock Exchange and Calcutta Stock Exchange. The Company has made available demat facility to the shareholders for holding equity shares with both the depositories (NSDL & CDSL). Further, shareholders who wish to hold shares in demat mode can approach their respective DP’s.
