National Wind & Power Corporation was incorporated in January 1973, is in the process of restructuring its business activities. It is part of the NEPC group, which has diversified business activities in the field of power generation from wind energy, manufacture and marketing of wind turbine generators and textiles, entertainment, airways, and consumer goods.

In 2011 National Wind was acquired by Trishe Wind Energy, an international company with industry know-how and key relationships.Trishe’s investment in National Wind at the corporate level as well as in the company’s seven current projects in Minnesota, Ohio, Colorado and Iowa is enabling progress on key development milestones on the way to construction and commercial operation.

The registered office of the company is located at Vehalna, Meerut Road, Muzaffarnagar 251003, Uttar Pradesh.

Business area

National Wind has developed three wind projects that are now in operation: a 50 MW wind farm in Cottonwood , MN, as well as two projects in North Dakota, one 49 MW and the other 120 MW. These three projects were sold to their current operators following development by National Wind.
