Paradeep Phosphates (PPL), incorporated in 1981, is a leading company in India’s phosphatic fertilizer industry. Its manufacturing units in various states of India produce a wide range of NPK fertilizers. PPL’s product range comprise NPS 20:20:0:13 (flagship product), NPK 19:19:19 (a unique grade produced only by PPL), NPK 10:26:26, NPK 12:32:16 as well as Urea, DAP and SSP. The company also imports MOP, TSP and DAP to serve its customer. PPL’s phosphatic fertiliser range has been augmented with the successful introduction of TSP 46% P, a quality product that has 46% P2O5, out of which 42 per cent is water soluble and with low pH, making it ideal for basal application.

PPL sources its raw materials globally through long-term contracts. Aligned to PPL’s core value of sustainability and balanced fertilisation, the company is creating awareness among the farmers for Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) to improve the Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE). Towards this, PPL has introduced high NUE products like Nano Shakti Nano DAP/Nano Urea, Nitronic 32 (UAN) and NUE Silica along with organic fertilizers like Bhoomitra and Bhoomitra Gold FOM (to enhance soil organic carbon) and soil conditioners like Zypmite and Zypmite Plus (for pH balance).

All the products of PPL are marketed under Jai Kisaan and Navratna, are brands that have become synonymous with its farmers’ ethos and trust throughout India and is well-entrenched in the minds of Indian farmers for over four decades. PPL’s diverse product portfolio provides crops with the optimum supply of essential plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur and zinc. In addition to a wide range of fertilizers, PPL also distributes speciality plant nutrients as well as several agrochemicals.

Paradeep Phosphates is primarily engaged in the manufacture of Urea, Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), Complex Fertilizers of NPK grades, and Zypmite (Gypsum based product). The company is also involved in trading of fertilizers, ammonia, neutralized phospo gypsum, micronutrient and other materials. The company caters to the demands of farmers all over the country through its Jai Kisaan and Navratna brand of fertilizers.
