The Company was incorporated on August 9, 1948 under the Jaipur Companies Act, 1942 and commenced its business on August 12, 1948.

Mukherjee Road, Kolkata- 700001, which has been shifted from Birlanagar, Gwalior to Kolkata with effect from October 4, 2002.
