The Peria Karamalai Tea & Produce Company was incorporated on July 05, 1913 with a main objective to manufacture the best quality black tea. It is one of the oldest black tea manufacturer and spice cultivators in India with tea gardens located at Valparai in the District of Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. The company has factories and tea gardens namely Karamalai, Akkamalai, Vellamalai and Nadumalai spread over thousands of acres with production of Orthodox variety which are of high quality from high grown field green leaves.

The company’s tea gardens are ‘TrustTea and RFA’ certified. It uses the finest tea leaves, carefully harvested from its estates to offer some of the best Premium Orthodox, CTC and Green teas in India. The company has a state-of-the-art HACCP & FSSAI certified blending unit ocated at Pollachi in the District of Coimbatore in Tamilnadu, India.

Apart from tea, the company organically cultivate Karimunda variety Black Pepper, Chandragiri s9 variety Arabica Coffee, Cinnamon and Avocados. Its spice farm is ‘Organic Certified’ by Tamilnadu Organic Certification Department (TNOCD).
