TPI India Ltd. was incorporated on April 14,1982 as a Private Limited Company by the name of Tarapur Packaging Industries Pvt.Ltd. and subsequently took over the business of Tarapur packaging Industries. It was converted into a Public Limited Company on October 22, 1990 and a fresh certificate of Incorporation consequent to change of name to TPI India Limited was obtained on October 23, 1990. The Company has been promoted by Shri Hasmukh C.Parekh and his family.
