Watson Software was incorporated as a private limited company on January 5, 1990, was converted into a public limited company on Jun. 18, 1992 and got its present name on February 2, 2000.

It is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of functioning release paper, label stock and bi-axially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) tape, and develops software.

The manufacturing unit of the company is located in the Thane district of Maharashtra with installed capacities of 3.5 million sq. m. tapes, 616 MTPA release paper and 700,000 sq. m. labels. It has a call center in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and is trying to make inroads into the software sector. It has been suspended from the BSE on account of non compliance with listing agreement clauses.

The registered office is located at Plot No 4-5, Sectors 438/2 439/2, Dewan & Sons Udyog Nagar, Mahim, Thane-401404, Maharashtra.
