Worldwide Leather Exports Ltd was incorporated as a private limited company on June 26, 1990 in the name of Ashiana Buildtech (India) Pvt Ltd and was later on converted into a public limited company with effect from January 15, 1992. The name of the company was subsequently changed to Ashiana Intercontinental Ltd and a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained from the Registrar of Companies West Bengal on January 28, 1992.
