Zodiac-JRD-MKJ was incorporated as a private limited company on January 6,1987 and got converted into a public limited company on October 22,1992. The company is part of the Zaveri family (JRD group), which has business interests in jewelry and precious stones and Gems. The registered office of the company is located at Opera House, Mumbai.

The processing facilities of the company are located at Dahisar in Mumbai.

The group is consolidating its business activities with the merger of JRD Diamonds and more recently, MKJ Jewellery with the company.

The company mainly imports rough diamonds from Belgium or buys them locally from Hindustan Diamonds and cuts and polishes them.
