The company was primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and sale of various chemical products based on molasses and industrial alcohol. Due to change in the Government policy by way of decontrol of molasses and alcohol, the Company’s products range had become non- profitable. Thus the Company had become sick company and was registered with Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR).
