Karnavati Finance was incorporated as Karnavati Finance and leasing Limited at Mumbai on December 05, 1984 under the Companies Act, 1956 with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. On December 11, 1989 the name of the company was changed to Karnavati Finance Limited. Later in the year 2001-2002 the company was taken over by present promoter Raman Morzaria by acquiring 2,51,000 equity share at Rs 10.50 from Rajnikant Worah and his associate via share purchase agreement dated May 10, 2001.
