Prag Bosimi Synthetics was incorporated in 1987. The company is a joint venture project of Assam Industrial Development Corporation and the Bombay Silk Mills.

The company’s plant is located at Khandajan in Darrang district in Assam. The company is a 100% export oriented textile division with facilities for texturising, twisting and dyeing of polyester filament yarn (PFY).

Prag Bosimi Synthetics has a technical collaboration with EMS Inventa AG of Switzerland.

Business area of the company

The company is engaged in the manufacture of PFY and partially oriented yarn (POY), which find numerous applications as apparel fabric, knitted fabric, stretch woven fabric, tyrecord, etc.
