Saptarishi Agro Industries, established in 1992, is a 100% export-oriented unit engaged in cultivation, processing and export of mushrooms.The company was acquired by Calibre Rehabs in January 2003. It is situated in the Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu.Its processing unit has an installed capacity for canning 3,000 MTPA mushrooms. In FY08, the company produced over 1,400 MT fresh mushrooms and is concentrating on the domestic market and yield improvement to make its product competitive.
