Since incorporation in 1969, Zenith Exports Limited has been blending and updating traditional weaving techniques and designs with the modern & contemporary to achieve the quality and high end finish that it is known for.

Starting operations with silk scarves and bridal fabric for the fashion world, it now boast an expansive range of textile products for both the fashion and home furnishing industries. Having established manufacturing units in both the handcrafted and automated fabrication sectors, it creates a wide range of products that complement both classic and contemporary lifestyles.

Its talented and motivated team of designers and engineers are as passionate about textiles as its clients are, enabling it to deliver an exceptional level of quality and attention to detail. In addition, its team can undertake bespoke developments to create a tailored product for its clients.

The Company has a weaving unit namely ‘Zenith Textiles’ located at Nanjangud, Mysore. Another unit namely ‘Zenith Spinners’ located at village- Dholka, Ahmadabad.

Business area of the company

The company is engaged in the business of Leather Goods & Textile Fabrics.

The company has 3 divisions viz.

  • 100% EOU at Nanjangud, Karnataka - Manufacturing High Quality Silk and Velvet Fabrics.
  • Exports Division at Kolkata - Exporting Industrial Leather Hand Gloves, Silk & Cotton Fabrics and made- ups manufactured on Handloom etc.
  • A yarn division at Sarandi, Ahmedabad - The yarn unit which had suspended its operations since
    December, 2015, due to steep competition and unfavorable market situation has started business of trading of Cotton with effect from January, 2019.

Milestones

  • 1969: Late Sri. B.R.Loyalka and his sons start Zenith with textiles, leather & automobile hire-purchase in Kolkata.
  • 1975: Mr. S.K.Loyalka begins exports of silk fabrics for fashion & home, which eventually becomes the predecessor of the present day company.
  • 1978: The production facility for dyeing and weaving hand-loom silk fabrics is started.
  • 1984: The production facility for manufacturing silk fabrics is set up in Bengaluru.
  • 1994: Zenith Textiles, a state of the art vertically integrated weaving mill is set up with a capacity to manufacture 1 million meters per year in Mysuru.
  • 1995: Zenith Exports Ltd. goes public and is traded in the Bombay Stock Exchange.
  • 2003: The Embroidery unit is set up to add embroidered textiles to its range. The same year a finished products unit is established.
  • 2005: Jacquard Velvet Looms followed by Solid Velvet looms are set up at the Nanjangud weaving unit.
